We are seeking a highly motivated

Learning Designer

to join our firm. This position may be filled remotely or at any of our locations.

Responsibilities

Build instructionally sound, creative, and high-quality learning products that meet organizational needs.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop engaging content for a variety of audiences and delivery modes (eLearning, blended learning).

Develop eLearning courses and supplemental materials using industry-standard tools such as Articulate Suite Camtasia, and Canva.

Produce supporting materials (storyboards, summaries, etc.) to illustrate vision, secure buy‑in, and align with SMEs’ workflows.

Maintain and revise existing learning products, ensuring content remains relevant, efficient, and aligned with learning objectives.

Demonstrate strong visual design skills, ensuring deliverables are error‑free and professional in appearance.

Apply adult learning theory when creating, updating, and evaluating course materials.

Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) before submitting drafts to SMEs.

Work independently, take ownership of projects, and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.

Communicate verbally in a professional and effective manner.

Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

2+ years of instructional design experience in a professional services environment, or a 4‑year degree with significant coursework in Training, Instructional Design, or Computer Sciences.

2+ years of experience with eLearning development and visual design tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, and Canva.

Comfortable conducting meetings with stakeholders and delivering presentations in both informal and formal settings.

Experience applying adult learning theory and best‑practice learning methodologies that support learner engagement, knowledge comprehension, retention, and skill development.

Ability to handle the position’s functions with confidentiality.

Strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage diverse material.

Ability to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. Exact compensation varies based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.

California: $70,000 – $142,000

Colorado: $64,000 – $114,000

Illinois: $63,000 – $122,000

Massachusetts: $70,000 – $133,000

Maryland: $68,000 – $102,000

Minnesota: $70,000 – $115,000

Jersey City, NJ: $76,000 – $137,000

New York: $65,000 – $140,000

Vermont: $69,000 – $132,000

Washington: $68,000 – $128,000

Washington, D.C.: $90,000 – $132,000
