This position will begin Fall 2026.An active research agenda, student advising, and service at the department, college, university, and professional levels are expected. Faculty are eligible to apply for competitive course releases to support significant research, publication projects, and grant activity.* Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, with emphasis on M.A. core offerings.* Collaborate with the College of Business to integrate digital strategy, marketing, and analytics coursework into the program.* Contribute to curriculum development and program leadership for the M.A. in Strategic Communication, aligning courses with professional and academic needs in the DFW area.* Develop, deliver, and assess courses with attention to learning outcomes in both face-to-face and online modalities.* Maintain an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed scholarship.* Mentor graduate students not only in research but also in applied and field opportunities that prepare them for professional success.* Provide academic advising, mentorship, and student support.* Engage in service to the department, college, university, and professional community. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:*** **Education:** Ph.D. in Communication, Media, Journalism, or closely related field by start date.* **Experience/Knowledge/Skills:** Evidence of teaching effectiveness or strong potential for teaching undergraduate and graduate Strategic Communication courses; emerging record or strong potential for peer-reviewed scholarship; ability to teach online and face-to-face.* **Licensing/Professional Certifications:** None* **Physical Requirements:** None**PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:*** Professional or academic experience in public relations, advertising, campaigns, or digital/social media strategy.* Grant activity is encouraged and supported through institutional resources.All positions are security-sensitive.
