Job Title: Lecturer and Special Lecturer – Instruction in Journalism

Job Description Summary: The Department of Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations invites applicants for the positions of Lecturer and Special Lecturer to instruct courses in journalism, including Introduction to Journalism among other courses. This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the 2025-2026 academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of an applicant. Pre‑employment screening includes verification of academic credentials and background check.

Minimum Qualifications: MA in journalism or a related field; experience as a professional journalist.
