The Role of a CorePower Yoga Instructor A CorePower Yoga Instructor delivers an extraordinary experience by guiding students through a CPY‑aligned class, ensuring safety, and embodying CorePower values.

Essential Job Duties

Teach a minimum of two CorePower Yoga classes per week (totaling at least 4 studio hours).

Provide a consistent, safe practice space by educating students on alignment, offering modifications, and using CPY cueing formulas.

Arrive 30 minutes before and after each class to read studio communications, plan classes, and connect with the student community.

Engage students before and after classes to support personal growth and the studio's initiatives.

Serve as the front‑desk face of our CPY experience, welcoming students, checking them in, handling POS transactions, and ensuring a memorable experience.

Perform cleaning tasks as assigned, maintaining CPY Smart Health Protocol standards.

Foster a supportive and fun studio environment by upholding the CorePower Core Values.

Act as an in‑studio ambassador for all CPY initiatives and business streams, including memberships, programming, retail, etc.

Skills & Experience

Certificate of completion from a 200‑hour yoga teacher training (plus continuing education hours as specified) or relevant certification.

Current CPR/AED certification required.

Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with computer applications.

Ability to lead students in physical activity up to 1.5 hours at a time.

Can withstand heat up to 104°F for at least 60 minutes in heated classes.

Assigned to a studio set. Responsibilities include permanent classes, subbing, feedback, and community growth.

Capable of moving around the studio, crouching, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Compensation $29.20 per class with opportunity for additional $0.90 to $12.00 per class based on prior experience.
