Supply Chain & Packaging Project Engineer , you will lead strategic projects (OPTIMAP, OPTIPRO, Productivity initiatives) from concept to implementation, ensuring seamless operations and world-class standards.
Your Mission
Champion Safety Culture : Promote and uphold safety standards across all activities.
Design & Implement Solutions : Develop cutting-edge supply-chain and packaging strategies for major industrial projects.
Drive Excellence in Planning : Provide accurate inputs and quotations during the exploratory phases to set projects up for success.
Key Responsibilities Exploratory Phase (AVP):
Define optimal supply-chain organization, resources, and processes to ensure
Safety, Quality, and Customer Service
while minimizing costs and inventory.
Calculate project budgets (cost per part, investments, etc.) and ensure quotations align with standard equipment and processes.
Identify and elevate industrial risks early.
Project Development Phase:
Apply global standards (POMS & Supply-Chain guidelines).
Design and optimize physical and information flows from suppliers to customers, collaborating closely with manufacturing teams.
Determine stock levels and lead time strategies for maximum efficiency.
Develop functional specifications for packaging solutions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and production constraints.
Oversee packaging trials, fine‑tuning, and customer approvals.
Contribute to information system design and layout planning for inbound/outbound flows and storage areas.
Analyze impacts of scope changes on resources, costs, and packaging types.
Support supplier selection with technical validation and participate in audits and FMEA.
Provide hands‑on support during production start‑up and ramp‑up phases.
What We’re Looking For
Education : Bachelor’s degree with experience or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Experience : Internal candidates – Plant Logistics Engineer; External – similar role in industrial or logistics environments.
Skills & Attributes :
Strong dedication to safety and customer satisfaction.
Leadership, autonomy, and team spirit.
Excellent communication in multicultural environments.
Fluent in English; openness to new ideas and continuous improvement mindset.
