Position Overview As a

Communications Assistant , you will support day-to-day communication efforts across live events, promotional campaigns, and public outreach initiatives. You’ll play a key role in helping nonprofit clients effectively connect with local communities while developing valuable skills in marketing, PR, and brand messaging.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role with

full training , making it ideal for candidates seeking professional growth and long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with communication strategies for events, promotions, and outreach campaigns

Represent nonprofit clients at community events, engaging with the public and sharing key messages

Support public relations activities such as campaign announcements and community updates

Help create clear, consistent messaging for marketing materials, event signage, and presentations

Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to ensure successful campaign execution

Maintain strong communication with team members, clients, and event partners

Track engagement, provide feedback from events, and contribute to improving campaign performance

Assist with administrative communication tasks as needed
