We are currently seeking a

Conceptual Designer

to join our Signage Department and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

Schedule: Full-time Location: Onsite in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is passionate about design, art, color, creative solutions, and innovative communication methods.

The designer will work closely with the project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, and design development.

Must be a strong and highly motivated designer who will be required to quickly generate multiple initial concepts and develop them into viable design solutions.

Responsible for designing a wide variety of graphics, signage, wayfinding projects, and branded environments, as well as creating master artwork files for detailing and other custom applications.

Confer with the team to understand internal expectations regarding the design process and fabrication.

Create client presentations that clarify, inspire, and motivate.

Assist with logo design, branding, collateral layouts, and drawing of floor plans and site maps.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in industrial design or interior design is a plus.

Ability to visualize ideas in two and three dimensions.

A strong design sensibility with the ability to integrate messaging, color, imagery, and type into three-dimensional solutions.

Demonstrates a passion for bringing brands to life in physical spaces and in alignment with architectural and interior design.

Maintain a strong understanding of client needs and objective.

Highly skilled in conceptual ideation and collaborative brainstorming.

Excels in designing within creative and strategic frameworks.

Confident understanding of scale, typography, color, materials, and lighting.

Strategic & systematic attention to detail.

Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem-solve.

Basic ability to read architectural documents and comprehension of architectural scales, sections, plans, and elevations.

Proficiency in the use of Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Understanding of AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Vectorworks is a plus.
