Key Job Responsibilities
Become a knowledgeable partner on Amazon Advertising solutions with revenue experience.
Partner with sales team to create media strategies and drive incremental revenue for advertisers who are new to Amazon Ads.
Manage end‑to‑end campaign launches including strategizing and creating initial media plans, forecasting cross‑product and cross‑channel campaigns for optimal media mix, educating advertisers on creative and ad placement requirements/opportunities, SLAs, and product and budget nuances, and working cross‑functionally with Sales, Campaign & Creative Managers & Ad Operations to ensure accurate campaign booking and set up.
Accelerate prospecting of first‑time advertisers, owning responses to customers with requests for proposals (RFPs) from the prospecting pipeline.
Support product expansion through cross‑channel forecasts and media proposals showcasing optimal media mix.
Provide sales team with support with prospecting new business by providing inventory forecasts across the Amazon Ads suite.
Align with customer and sales team on customer KPIs and measurement set‑up in order to ensure campaign success.
Partner with sales team to strategically grow accounts with additional spend potential by sending weekly upsells, sharing mid and end‑of‑campaign reporting, and owning campaign measurement analyses.
A Day in the Life Earn trust and foster frustration‑free advertiser experiences by partnering with Amazon sales teams (AE, Sales AM, and CCM) to create media proposals for advertisers that are new to Amazon Ads. Strategize and build media plans aimed at helping advertisers grow their business and marketing objectives while upholding our end customers’ experience. Work with internal stakeholders to deliver results that matter to our advertisers for long‑term growth. Oversight of Amazon first‑party and third‑party measurement set‑up pre‑launch before transitioning campaigns to Sales Account Managers and CCMs to ensure a positive customer experience. After campaigns have launched, proactively share campaign insights and reporting to strategically grow accounts that have additional spend potential. The role provides a fast‑paced environment offering continual opportunities to learn, be curious, and develop skills.
About the Team This role may support various categories/verticals based upon the needs of the Mid‑Market business. Campaign Account Managers work with AEs, AMs, CCMs, AdOps, Measurement, and other teams to ensure flawless campaign execution.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of digital advertising, sales, or account management experience and client‑facing role experience.
Experience in omnichannel marketing, display, over‑the‑top (OTT), or search marketing.
Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
Adept at solving problems that span business and technology.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to convey messages, push‑back when required, and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
3‑5 years work experience in advertising with experience owning media buying/planning across digital advertising, eCommerce, and/or linear broadcast/streaming TV focused roles.
Bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, advertising, statistics, engineering, or business.
Excellent organization, relationship‑building and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Programmatic strategy and implementation experience.
Proven track record of delivering results and significantly contributing to advertiser revenue growth.
