Andrew Franz Architect, PLLC is an award-winning New York City based architecture and design firm located in Flatiron with projects ranging from private houses and apartments to a variety of commercial and cultural facilities.
The studio is currently seeking a Senior Architectural Designer/Project Manager with a minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience to work on high-end residential design projects in NY, the surrounding states, Florida and the Bahamas, in a casual and collaborative work environment.
Candidates should have a strong background in design, a great understanding of the construction process of single family homes and possess excellent communication skills. The Senior ArchitecturalDesigner / Project Manager will work with the principal and a team to help manage projects from inception to completion and must be self-driven, motivated, and able to work with confidence through every stage of a project.
Qualifications:
BArch or MArch degree. A minimum 7-10 years of professional experience Proficiency in Revit a must along with Adobe Suite, 3D modeling + rendering (Enscape & Rhino preferred) and strong Autocad and drafting skills. Experience managing residential jobs, including ground up wood and masonry construction Excellent organizational,presentation, and client management skills Strong design skills and a technical aptitude CD development experience and thorough knowledge of assembling CD, DOB and LPC sets Proficiency in NYC Department of Buildings coordination, zoning and building codes.
