We are seeking motivated Structural Designers with 0 to 2 years of experience to join our team in our Los Angeles office. Qualifications
BS in Civil or Architectural/Structural Engineering; MS and EIT a plus. Transcripts and references will be requested.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, good communicator, and resourceful.
Able to work independently or in a group setting. Willingness to be mentored by others.
Proven excellence in University coursework related to structural analysis and behavior of building structures; Building code application and performance based design a plus.
Proven excellence in University coursework related to concrete and steel design; PT concrete, wood and masonry a plus.
Either prior experience (basic proficiency) with or ability to learn structural engineering design, planning, and analysis, including analysis and design software and application to project specific needs under guidance of licensed senior engineer(s).
General programing or knowledge in Grasshopper/Rhino is a plus.
Special consideration to those who have interned in a Structural Engineering office and have experience with analysis and design of buildings using the California Building Code and ASCE 7.
