Dimension IV Madison Design Group is looking for a highly motivated
mid-level Project Designer
to join our creative and collaborative architectural team. If you have 3 - 5 years of experience, strong design and rendering skills and the ability to research, solve, and iterate design solutions, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the project team to develop conceptual design options, building massing, schematic layouts, “fit plans” and architectural renderings.
Create REVIT and SketchUp models, renderings and presentations for client meetings, submittals and internal discussions.
Support project architects and project managers in design development, preparing permits sets and construction documentation.
Conduct material and product research to support design decisions.
Assist in identifying and integrating sustainable design strategies and materials during early project phases.
Contribute to project delivery through construction administration, code compliance research, and consultant coordination.
Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor or Master) from a NAAB-accredited program. A 4-year Bachelor of Architectural Studies may be considered.
3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, with exposure to a range of project types; experience in multifamily projects is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion and SketchUp is required.
Familiarity with BIM360, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is expected.
Demonstrated strength in design thinking, visual communication, and organizational skills.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt and contribute effectively individual and within a team environment.
Pursuing architectural licensure through AXP and ARE.
LEED Green Associate preferred.
