R-100277**Job Description Summary**The Low Voltage CAD Designer will provide low voltage system designs for a wide variety of projects including fire alarm and security systems. This position interacts with various departments within ECSI and Hunt Electric as well as external customers to identify their requirements, define project scope and prepare project proposals. A high degree of accuracy, communication, and attention to detail is required.**Job Description:**•Create low voltage system construction drawings within AutoCAD and Revit on a variety of projects under the direction of senior design members as well as project managers and general foreman.•Create installation drawings for field installation use.•Create detailed drawings depicting actual field device connections.•Create project submittals requiring voltage drops and detailed battery calculation.•Take field provided red-line drawings and complete final as-builts including Owner Operation Manuals.•Coordinate finished product with Project Manager and Field Foreman.•Ensure outputs meet the required standards and agreed upon deadlines.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS•High school diploma or equivalent.•Two (2) year degree in electrical construction, electrical design for construction or similar preferred.•Experience in electrical construction and design would be preferred.•NICET I or II certification in fire alarm systems preferred•CAD Design knowledge.•3D/BIM experience using Revit.•Excellent planning and organizational skills.•Ability to work independently and self-motivate.•Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.•Excellent time management skills.•Ability to prioritize workload.•Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.•Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS•This job operates in a professional office environment.•This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.•This position requires the ability to lift files and open file cabinets.•Employees are frequently required to sit, stand, and occasionally required to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, or crouch.•This position may occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.**Pay Range:**$61,750.00 - $85,500.00Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
