Responsibilities

Conducting Needs Analysis and preparing Analyses Reports

Liaising with stakeholders (SMEs, client) for requirement analysis etc.

Developing end-to-end learning solutions on Articulate 360 and RISE besides conceptualizing and storyboarding

Designing engaging learning activities and compelling course content supporting materials or scripts for videos, simulations, role plays, games, job aids etc.

Designing and creating standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for the proposed learning solution

Managing client communication regarding project requirements

Actively participating in Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes

Designing effective learning solutions considering client requirements and latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and the latest best practices in ID

Conducting quality assurance edits of the final learning solution/product and deliverables such as:

Content Outlines

ISMs

Storyboards

Developed Prototypes and modules/courses

Storyboards

Guidelines & Checklists

Ensuring reviews and errors/defects are logged in the recommended format based on project requirements

Maintaining project documentation, including, proposals, design documents, storyboards, ID checklists etc. and adhering to version control

Providing guidance and support to junior IDs offering expertise in ID principles, methodologies, and tools

Ensuring that schedules and project efforts are met according to the training plan

Performing random audits to ensure all documents are maintained as per the ID process

Mentoring and training team members based on project scope and requirements

Tracking and analyzing ID efforts in terms of quality, schedule, and effort

Identifying / recommending process improvements to build efficiencies

Conducting team meetings at regular intervals and managing team conflicts and aspirations

Objectively evaluating performance and communicating individual strengths and weaknesses

Identifying individual ID skill enhancement/development plans

Conducting training sessions on functional topics / industry trends

Developing ID white papers and innovative products that can be put up for industry awards

Participating in recruitment process

Preferred Skills

11 to 13 years of core instructional design experience in the corporate sector

4+ years of experience as a Team Lead/Manager

Exposure to training and mentoring individuals and teams

Working knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, RISE 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond etc.

Working knowledge or experience of Digital Adaptation Platforms such as WalkMe will be an added advantage

Working knowledge or experience of ERP platform/tools such as SAP Enable Now, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, will be an added advantage

Know-how of Learning Management System (LMS)/Learning Content Management (LCMS) and compliance standards (WCAG, SCORM, xAPI, etc.)

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality learning materials

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with a collaborative mindset

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities

Ability to think critically and analyze complex problems related to instructional design

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to manage small teams

Qualification

A graduate in Arts (MA with English)/ Science or any graduate with a flair for writing.
