$1,101 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH).
Job Summary Adjunct Instructor for face‑to‑face and web‑blended SPC 101 courses, Spring Semester 2026. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:25 pm – 3:20 pm. Ankeny Campus.
Essential Functions
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques, and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
Fosters a safe and civil learning environment.
Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications
Master of Speech or Communications or any master’s degree with 12 graduate semester credits in Speech.
Demonstrated effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.
Desired Qualifications
Teaching experience.
