Accountabilities & Essential Functions
Set up, test, and execute automated and dynamic e‑mail campaigns for lead generation and nurturing, trigger‑based campaigns, and ad‑hoc emails, including building forms and dynamic content.
Define audience and build targeted segmentation for e‑mail campaigns based on sales and engagement.
Manage approval reviews for e‑mail campaigns for suppliers, newsletters, events, brands, and other internal departments, ensuring deadlines are met and finding alternatives if needed.
Implement testing methodologies (A/B testing) within all elements of email marketing to improve engagement and program performance.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with key internal stakeholders, departments, and external contacts.
Ensure accuracy, quality, brand consistency, and overall customer experience in email communications.
Work closely with in‑house copywriters and designers to provide guidance on email best practices.
Skills & Certifications
Experience building campaigns using Eloqua or similar marketing automation tools.
Process‑oriented, motivated team player with strong problem‑solving and technical aptitude.
Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment while maintaining detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Mac or Microsoft Windows environments.
Marketing Automation Specialist III
Profound experience in segmentation and building campaigns using Eloqua or similar tools.
Sets capacity for optimal use of the customer/subscriber database.
Identifies new media buying and lead generation opportunities and makes decisions regarding spending levels under the supervision of the Marketing Automation Manager.
Monitors email deliverability and maintains seed lists globally for inbox placement analysis.
Communicates results, analytics, and recommendations to various stakeholders.
Provides mentorship to Marketing Automation Specialists I & II.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and marketing experience.
4+ years of marketing automation experience in e‑mail usability, deliverability, and best practices, including proofing, linking, accuracy, tracking, and functionality.
