Position Purpose
The Marketing Production Specialist will work closely with the Production Manager to fully own production and distribution of signage and promotional product for all in-store marketing materials and event/promotional signage & production. As part of a small, dynamic, multi-hat wearing team, qualified individuals will be: able to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; self-motivated; flexible; extremely organized; very detail-oriented; tenacious yet tactful; confident and diplomatic in dealing with competing departmental objectives and varied personalities; a strong problem solver; able to work well under pressure in order to meet project deadlines; and will have a positive attitude. Principal Accountabilities
Owning all ProShop signage and production jobs, with full accountability for all Pro Shop operations and deadlines. Control quality and quantity on all sign and promotional packages. Complete ownership of the signage flow, from arrival to the distribution center through the shipment to the stores. Proactive about opportunities for production growth as a department. Provide insight and ideas for improvements to the department. Ensure follow through on signage and POP for promotions at the store level. Create and own year-at-a-glance signage recaps. Weekly documentation of store mall windows. Research, propose, and develop unique signage opportunities for existing and new store prototypes. Research, propose, and develop unique signage opportunities for events and promotions. Complete and create purchase orders for all marketing production projects. Manage the proofing process of signage and promotional materials. Fully own all orders and relationships with print vendors. Manage sourcing projects involving signage and promotional materials. Manage signage costs, track invoices and input into Excel budget sheet. Help onsite at employee events (set-up and assemble signage, props & décor, work with local vendors). Qualifications
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills. Able to take ownership and fully run programs without oversight. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through. Knowledge of computer programs (Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Ability to manage multiple projects, within the set timeline and meeting the standards set by Marketing Team. Ability to understand and respond to all issues related to assigned projects. Ability to stay focused. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work well in a fast-moving multi-task environment. Intermediate knowledge of print Production and processes required. Action Sports and/or Retail experience preferred. To Apply
