The YMCA of Greater New York Association Office is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing & Paid Media, the Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for executing the YMCA of Greater New York’s marketing strategy and acquisition campaigns that support consistent revenue growth and enhance the Y brand equity and awareness.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate experience in marketing and communications required. Five (5) to ten (10) years of professional experience with a background in communications or marketing. Consumer insights/analytics experience. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region and to/from the Association office as required. Marketing strategy development and execution required. Light copywriting, message development, and storytelling ability. Understanding of content creation, graphics, and photography, execute small projects, make edits, supervise specialists, and outside vendors. Knowledge of tools, e.g., Canva, Marq, DAM, and other marketing-related tools. Ability to work in a lean marketing team environment Innovative mindset. Base knowledge of creative platforms, e.g., Photoshop, AI marketing tools preferred. Video and photo editing experience preferred. Knowledge of Social platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.) preferred.
