This role is the face of Scan Design and the bridge between the client and the company. The Sales Design Consultant serves clients one‑on‑one, builds relationships, and creates beautiful projects while providing excellent customer service at every step. This is a full‑time, commissioned position with a minimum guaranteed draw. The schedule is a 5‑day workweek and includes weekends, evenings, and holidays. The role must meet monthly sales expectations. Compensation Commission earning potential: $45,000 to $85,000+. Guaranteed draw per pay‑period. General Responsibilities Create and assist clients with design projects. Select components from our collections to create a unique and purposeful space for each client. Formulate solutions to satisfy client’s needs. Prepare sketches using Floor Planner software for client presentation. Own and manage the sales order process from start to finish. Conduct client home visits to measure spaces, introduce options, and maximize project work. Assist with maintaining showroom aesthetics, including floor moves and cleanliness, to ensure an inspired client experience. Create and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, vendors, and coworkers inside and outside the store. Maintain a professional appearance that is fitting of the environment in which we work. Perform permanent or temporary duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Previous experience in interior design or related fields. Proven sales experience, high‑end environment preferred. Familiarity with design software platforms preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual a plus. High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
