Role Description This full-time on-site role, located in New York, NY, is for an Associate Sweater Designer. The Associate Sweater Designer will be responsible for assisting in the creation and development of sweater designs, collaborating closely with design teams, and staying updated on industry trends. Additional duties include fabric selection, color coordination, and participating in fittings to ensure optimal garment construction.
Qualifications
Proficiency in sweater design, knitwear, and fashion illustration
Experience in fabric selection, color theory, and textile design
Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Attention to detail and a keen eye for trends
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
Previous industry experience in womenswear fashion is a plus
