Entry Level Cadd Designer - (L-2024-10)

As a member of an interdisciplinary design team, responsibilities may include: Organize and maintain CADD files for engineering projects including but not limited to civil, structural and electrical engineering plans and ROW plans. Prepare construction plans conforming to CADD standards of transportation agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, PennDOT, PTC, NYSDOT and NYCDDC. Prepare color plans for proposals. Prepare color displays for public meetings. Work closely with CADD coordinator and CADD staff. Perform quality control tasks such as checking work of CADD technicians. May require occasional travel to other Arora offices for temporary assignments. Requirements Associate degree, vocational school or military training certificate in Engineering Graphics or related field. Entry level to 3 years of progressive experience preparing engineering plans using CADD. Proficiency with Microstation or AutoCAD software. Able to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to completing assignments accurately and on time. The following Experience is a Plus: Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit and/or BIM preferred. Understanding of NJ/NY/PA transportation agency CADD standards preferred.
