As an Editor, it is your job to ensure the customer experience lives through with our product, its presentation, packaging, and care. Driven by an authentic desire to collaborate and engage with others, you will inspire and create exceptional experiences for our customers as they discover and deepen their connection with our brand through our products - whether in-store, picking up an online order, or processing a return or exchange. You will collaborate with all members of the store team to ensure every customer touchpoint throughout their experience is cohesive and seamless. Responsibilities Customer Experience: Model and coach Glossier’s customer experience principles, embody our core values, become an expert on the entire product portfolio, fulfill customer order requests promptly and accurately, develop and nurture relationships with repeat customers, master customer service expectations, monitor feedback, and act as a brand ambassador.
Teamwork: Maintain optimism and safety, collaborate with store leadership on inventory and feedback, assist with product demonstrations and cross-training, and support special projects.
Operational Excellence: Adhere to safety standards, manage inventory with systems, ensure inventory accuracy, receive and inspect shipments, participate in visual merchandising, uphold uniform standards, understand front and back-of-house operations, and handle sensitive information confidentially.
Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service operation (retail or hospitality) is preferred.
Experience in an advisory or sales capacity within beauty/skincare is preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for creating memorable experiences and promoting inclusion and belonging.
Demonstrated empathy and action-oriented mindset; strong collaboration and multitasking abilities.
Desire to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment; POS or inventory system experience is a plus.
