Senior UI / UX Designer (Hybrid)

Client: Consumer HealthTech Startup | Location: Miami, FL – Hybrid (3 days / week onsite) | Local candidates only due to onsite collaboration needs | Start Date: ASAP | Duration: Contract-to-Hire (3–6 months conversion)

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on UI / UX design experience for web and mobile applications
• Strong proficiency in Figma (components, auto‑layout, variants, and design systems)
• Experience conducting UX discovery activities (user interviews, journey mapping, usability testing)
• Ability to translate business requirements and product ideas into low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes
• Solid understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG) and inclusive design
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers in an Agile environment
• Ability to create and maintain a scalable design system and component library
• Comfortable presenting design rationale to stakeholders and incorporating feedback constructively
• Experience designing flows for onboarding, dashboards, and transactional user journeys is preferred
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to advocate for the user while balancing business goals
