PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To develop and deliver operational and training knowledge, tools, and resources through Slims' University and LMS platform. Identify opportunities within the brand to improve processes, procedures, tools, equipment, training, and education to drive higher performance through the creation and execution of training.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Digital Content Development
Creates eContent projects in collaboration with Operation, Training and Subject Matter Expert
Apply the ADDIE model to analyze, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate learning solutions and curriculum.
Assess the effectiveness of current and future content to identify training opportunities.
Provide troubleshooting support for LMS tickets and resolve issues promptly.
Generate reports for the Support Center, FADs, and system-wide to drive training engagement and completion.
Design engaging, interactive videos and modules.
Stay current on training trends and convert ideas into effective eLearning content.
Support video and photography projects as needed, including editing.
Support and provide field training materials such as PowerPoints and handouts.
Develop and manage QR code technologies.
Maintain organized and up-to-date files within the LMS.
Translate materials into Spanish or other necessary languages.
Collaborate cross-functionally to validate and manage user data within The Porch.
Written Content Development
Adheres to brand standards when designing content and formatting documentation, ensuring clarity, usability, and proper grammar and punctuation in all written and designed training materials.
Contributes to various written content projects as needed, including The Dip weekly newsletter, job aids, recipes, the Operations Manual, MIT syllabus, LTO/Test Promotions, and updates to operational and training materials.
Provides support for training and operations initiatives and projects.
Edits and proofreads all documents to ensure accuracy and quality before publication.
Slim Chickens systems principles and objectives: Has a thorough understanding of Slim Chickens' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies, safety) and recognizes the responsibility to stay updated on these systems and the role this position plays in supporting them.
Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives: This position description is designed to guide the activities of the Instructional Designer / Content Administrator. It is not meant to restrict the individual's creativity or limit their thinking, nor does it encompass all the tasks that may be required in this role.
Physical Activities: Primarily performed in an office environment. Involves entering and retrieving information on a computer and visually verifying details, often in small print. May also require presenting information to small or large groups.
Travel: Occasionally visits local corporate stores as needed for training and/or content needs for photography, video, or understanding of processes.

Qualifications
Requirements and Competencies:
Experience developing eLearning courseware using Articulate 360, H5P, Camtasia, Captiv8 or similar software to develop Micro-learning and in-depth learning courses
Prior background creating learning content for all types of devices and audiences
Learning Management System Administration experience preferred
Adobe Creative Suite Experience
Creative thinking—able to look at content and find exciting ways to make it appealing to the audience
Handle multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Apply project management methodologies to structure workflows, track milestones, and manage changing requirements.
Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment throughout each project phase.
Ability to utilize ADDIE Model to develop learning curriculum
Demonstrates a consultative approach in working with franchisees, managers, team members and Corporate Support Team
Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

Minimum Education :
College Degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience
Instructional Design background
Graphic Design background a plus
Restaurant and/or training and development background a plus
