Seamstress / Creative Designer Job at 315 Health in Chicago

Overview The Seamstress / Creative Designer will play a key role in designing, sewing, and producing custom products. These products include but are not limited to: company swag, branded products, employee appreciation gifts, and resale products. This role requires strong sewing skills, experience with embroidery machines, and a creative eye for product design. A background in production and marketing is preferred, as this position will also support promotional efforts. Responsibilities Design, sew, and finish custom products as well as brand related items. Operate and maintain embroidery machines for personalized designs Assist with creative development, pattern making, and prototypes Participate in production runs to meet deadlines and maintain quality Suggest fabrics, trims, and design details that enhance products Support marketing efforts Maintain sewing and embroidery equipment in good working order Qualifications Proven sewing and garment/product construction skills (hand and machine) Experience operating embroidery machines (required) Creativity and ability to collaborate on new product designs Familiarity with production timelines and processes Marketing or promotional experience (preferred) Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Fashion, textiles, or custom product background Experience in small-scale production or retail product development Comfort with social media or marketing support Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Full time (36-40 hour week) $15+ per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
