Electronic accessories company in midtown NYC (in‑house) is seeking a packaging designer.

Responsibilities

• Craft innovative and eye‑catching packaging designs for a variety of products.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor packaging strategies, and consumer preferences to create standout designs for retail shelves.
• Generate templates for packaging production, ensuring accurate sizing and layout.
• Identify relevant trends for each season and present new color & concept ideas.
• Apply a keen eye for color, trend, detail, and construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related discipline.
• Fully proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Detail‑oriented with a keen sense of design aesthetics.
• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
