About First Redeemer Church

First Redeemer Church is an evangelistic, growth-oriented church that values meaningful, Scripture-oriented discipleship. It’s mission is to win, baptize, teach, and disciple every person possible by every means possible until the coming again of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The church is progressive in terms of methods and conservative in terms of belief. Doctrinally, the church aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message. It is a Pastor-led church where Pastors are entrusted to minister within the theological and cultural constructs of the church.

First Redeemer’s current membership is 7400+ and its annual budget for 2025 is $11.5M. In July of 2025, the church opened a $22.5 million facility on its 50-acre campus located in a rapidly-growing part of North Atlanta. Current staff is comprised of:

  • 14 Pastors
  • 10 Department heads
  • 6 Professional staff
  • 10 Administrative professionals
  • Many part-time, hourly, and contracted employees

Because of the demographic diversity in its immediate ministry area, the church conducts two different worship services each Sunday in its recently-renovated 1800-seat worship center. The first worship experience features a professional band and praise team. The second features a 40-piece orchestra and a 150-voice choir. Additionally, over 100 on-campus Bible Studies take place each week for all ages.
