Full-Stack Web Developer (North Houston)

BubbleUp is hiring a Full-Stack Web Developer. Responsibilities

• Participate in the full development lifecycle from refining project requirements with clients to deploying to production and post‑production tests and maintenance.
• Build secure backends, slick and fast frontends, and efficient integrations.
• Collaborate with management, AI models, and other engineers to get the job done efficiently.
• Perform dev QA cycle, automate tests and release new project features with least risk.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers on best practices, design patterns, security and compliance.

Skills & Experience

• 6+ years in JavaScript‑based backend and frontend web development with REST and GraphQL API integrations.
• Experience building SQL and NoSQL backend databases, applying efficient indexing and query optimizations (preferably AWS stack).
• Experience leveraging AI with tools like Cursor and Copilot.
• Deep knowledge of security standards and best practices to ensure proper data encoding, protection against XSS, injections, and other common web attacks.
• Experience with AWS stack is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with older PHP–based systems is necessary.
• Exceptional debugging skills.
• Must be fluent in English and able to represent the company in client‑facing meetings.
