Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team at Web Design Tampa. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing, user-friendly websites for local businesses. You will work closely with clients and developers to bring unique ideas to life while ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom, responsive websites using WordPress and other design tools
• Create wireframes, mockups, and final design prototypes based on client needs
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are well-implemented and function smoothly
• Stay updated on design trends, user experience (UX) best practices, and industry standards
• Conduct website updates, redesigns, and ensure ongoing site maintenance
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness
• Work with the content team to integrate engaging visuals, typography, and brand elements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a web designer (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in WordPress, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and web standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Based in Tampa or able to work remotely with occasional in-person meetings
