Overview Job Title: Design Engineer Responsible for the Design Rule Check, Layout versus Schematic checking and fix all PDV/EMIR/Noise/SigEM violations and errors. Perform customization and implementation of top clocks and implement timing ECOs on high performance blocks. Perform floorplan, place and route. Report to Senior Manager of Advanced Chip implementation team at its San Jose Design Center, San Jose, CA and join a team of engineers dedicated to pushing the envelope for the world’s leading semiconductor company. Responsibilities DRC/LVS/ERC/ANTENNA analysis and clean up Floorplan analysis and congestion solution Power IR/EM analysis and fix Signal EM/Noise analysis and fix Physical verification sign off Implement ECOs for timing closure Customized Clock tree structure Perform floorplan, place and route Requirements Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering Hardware design including digital integrated circuits, logic design, design for testing, and digital design automation Knowledge of major EDA tools and design flows from schematics to layout design and from schematics to synthesis to layout flows using Innovus and Virtuoso schematics and layout tools Experience in Perl/TCL language programming Additional information This position is for a roving employee who will work at 2851 Junction Avenue, San Jose, CA 95134 and various unanticipated locations The role requires work in and around cities located in Santa Clara County, California Approximately 95% of the work will be performed at the customer's site in Sunnyvale, CA 94085 Remaining 5% will be based at the San Jose, CA office located at 2851 Junction Ave, San Jose, CA 95134 Role is part of the onsite team for the C651 project, with locations varying by customer site within Santa Clara County Relocation is not required The occupation does not require national or international travel Work site : TSMC Technology, Inc., 2851 Junction Ave., San Jose, CA 95134, and various unanticipated locations Salary Salary Range: $156,853 to $157,800 per year Company Description As a trusted technology and capacity provider, TSMC is driven by the desire to be the world’s leading dedicated semiconductor foundry and technology leader with a strong reputation for manufacturing excellence. This posting shows a base salary range of $156,853 to $157,800 per year. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range.
