We are offering exciting opportunities for Highway Designers and Summer Engineering Interns in the Transportation Department of our Mount Laurel office.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of conceptual alternative and final design plans for highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects

Assist in the design and production of traffic control and staging plans and traffic, signage, and striping plans

Perform geometric designs and plan development utilizing a variety of computer design software, including MicroStation, AutoCAD, InRoads, AutoTurn and GuideSign

Assist in the design of ADA‑compliant facilities, including sidewalks, shared‑use paths, and intersection curb ramps

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required for full‑time position

Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter, and comfortable working in a team environment

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with MicroStation V8i and Bentley In‑Roads (preferred)

EIT certification and prior internship experience (preferred)
