Credence has an immediate need for an Instructional Systems Designer for operational military education to support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) at the USAF Special Operations School (USAFSOS) school. This visible position requires an individual who is committed to continuous improvement, motivated, punctual, and dependable. The Instructional Systems Designer requires a systems thinker who is committed to continuous improvement, motivated, and dependable. The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) is responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional materials and programs in support of the USAFSOS mission. The ISD will consult with subject matter experts (SMEs), leverage adult learning principles, and apply a range of instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective online and face-to-face learning experiences. This position supports continuous improvement through data-driven evaluation and refinement of instructional content and delivery. This position is based at Hurlburt Field, FL. Requirements Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below As a member of the courseware project team, use the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) process to develop and modify courseware for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Training Change Proposal (TCP) or Formal Course Reviews (FCR). Collaborate with team to produce forward-thinking concepts to transform traditional courseware into innovative and compelling formats including video, interactions, emulators, and virtual reality. Design quizzes, end of course exams, and meaningful course interactions to increase learning and retention. Assist with the development, update, and validation of Mastertraining Task List (MTTL) to ensure all pertinent tasks are identified to meet training objectives. Conduct and document formative evaluation during each stage of the ADDIE process. Attend formal course review (FCR) events and guide SMEs in proper methods to analyze materials for updates to MTTL, SOI, and courseware; after FCR, conduct small group tryouts (SGTO) to collect feedback and integrate it into the next course draft Education, Requirements and Qualifications Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance Preferred: an active Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in ISD or education preferred. Practical knowledge of the methods and techniques of instruction and adult learning principles. Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, Flash, and HTML5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Work is in an office environment with distractions.
