Job Description
The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History is seeking a part-time scientific illustrator to assist with a research project on fishing spiders (Dolomedes spp.). The illustrator will create accurate, detailed, and aesthetically professional illustrations of specimens and related materials for use in publications, presentations and outreach. This position is ideal for students with strong artistic skills and an interest in biology or natural history who are interested in applying their artistic skills to scientific contexts. Student employees will work in the Recent Invertebrates collection to help fulfill the Museum's mission of inspiring minds to understand the world through collection-based research, interpretation and education.

Required Education
Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2025 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
