Position Overview We are seeking a User Experience Designer to lead planning, design, and development of user experiences for tools and systems that enable mission users. You will conduct user research, create final designs, and guide implementation in agile environments. Key Responsibilities Operate in an agile environment and deliver regular feedback on user experience Conduct research, create visual designs, storyboards, interaction flows, and interface guidelines Rapidly prototype and iterate with product owners and review front-end implementations for adherence Communicate across stakeholder groups and mentor teams in user-centered design practices Qualifications Ten years of user experience design and five years leading project lifecycle design Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or four additional years of user experience design in lieu of degree Experience with mock-up and prototyping tools such as PowerPoint, Visio or Axure Compensation and Benefits Employer-paid Health Care Plan including Medical, Dental, and Vision Retirement Plan with generous company match Life Insurance basic, voluntary, and AD&D Paid Time Off including vacation, sick, and public holidays Short Term and Long Term Disability Training and Development opportunities Employee Assistance Program We are unable provide sponsorship.
