AGC is growing—and we’re looking for a talented Prepress Technician/Production Artist to join our team!

Located in Cleveland, OH, AGC is a Design+ Print+ Mail firm serving nonprofits, private education, healthcare, religious and arts/culture organizations. We provide graphic design, commercial printing, and direct mail services that help mission-driven organizations communicate and thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and adjust customer-supplied files for print using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Perform preflight checks, color correction, and proofing to ensure accuracy and production readiness.
  • RIP and plot files for proofing and final output, ensuring correct color profiles and resolution.
  • Set up layouts and imposition for offset printing (multi-page and commercial work).
  • Work closely with our Production Manager, designers, and press/bindery teams to keep jobs moving smoothly.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for specialty bindery or finishing services, die-cutting, and more.
  • Manage file organization, archiving, and version control.
  • Troubleshoot design and file issues quickly and effectively.
  • Assist with paper ordering and communicate production needs as jobs move through the workflow.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in prepress or commercial printing (offset experience preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Mac OS.
  • Experience with RIP/imposition software; FujiFilm XMF a plus.
  • Strong understanding of color management, resolution, bleeds, and print production standards.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
  • Diploma/degree in Graphic Design or Printing Technology is preferred but not required.
