  • Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

  • Rate Range: 60-80 HR
  • Location: Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid for contract duration. Once permanent, 5x a week on-site
  • 6 month contract to hire

The ACD of Art leads social-first creative ideation and execution for global retail chain’s fashion content, partnering with the ACD (Copy) to shape culturally resonant ideas. This role guides and mentors the Art Director, collaborates across production and marketing, and ensures all content feels social-first. The ACD of Art balances strategy and execution, maintains high standards of quality, and builds trust with cross-functional partners.

• Lead concept development and visual storytelling

• Guide production and post-production of assets

• Develop production briefs for third-party partners

• Stay attuned to industry trends and consumer behaviors

• Define and champion the look of Style on social

• Foster team development and positive relationships

• Operate fluidly between strategy and execution

• Present work and articulate creative rationale

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of creative experience across art direction or design

• Proven experience as an Associate Creative Director or similar role

• Strong technical abilities and leadership skills

• Portfolio demonstrating concept development and brand social-first content

• Ability to guide creative work and mentor junior talent

• Deep understanding of social platforms, storytelling, and cultural trends

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, or related field
