What Youll Do
The Associate Director, HCP Marketing will support the development and commercialization of a key asset (encaleret), drive crossfunctional collaboration and tactical alignment, and ensure success in the United States. You will lead the development and execution of tactics supporting the commercial launch of encaleret, occupy an important role on commercial product teams, and work closely with Market Insights, Market Access, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and other key stakeholders to deliver integrated commercial planning and execution. You should thrive in a fastpaced, ambiguous environment, and possess excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills. The role reports to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a commercial member on the Product Teams, embedding market needs into crossfunctional planning.
- Drive innovative tactics and address untapped opportunities.
- Lead brand planning, messaging, and claims work.
- Lead an agile, crossfunctional team to develop/launch marketing campaigns that inspire behavioral change and drive brand growth; ensure aligned launch execution across functions.
- Develop and track metrics to measure and ensure the success of marketing/promotional programs.
- Lead commercial convention presence, including target meetings, booth design and production, and overall commercial presence across channels.
- Partner with Value and Access to help develop the value proposition and access/reimbursement strategies.
- Partner closely with commercial and medical teams to identify physicians most likely to treat ADH1/LGMDR9 patients.
- Partner with regional teams to bring diverse commercial insights into the planning process and advocate for these views.
- Manage and evolve the disease education campaign and educational resources.
- Develop and manage the speaker bureau, including program structure, vendor leadership, and innovative approaches to further brand messaging.
- Lead the creation of all HCP peertopeer educational content.
- Collaborate with the Digital team to support launch and prelaunch activities.
- Proactively evaluate and assess the relevant market landscape, monitoring changes in dynamics, competition, clinician needs, and practices.
- Develop targeted measurement plans to evaluate the effectiveness of HCP tactics and prioritize efforts.
- Work crossfunctionally with agency partners, sales, commercial operations, brand analytics, IT, MCM, etc.
Where Youll Work
This is a hybrid role and requires inoffice collaboration 3x per week in our San Francisco or Palo Alto office.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience, with at least three years in Marketing.
- Successful launch experience in a competitive market is preferred.
- Rare disease experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and action insights from complex clinical data and market research.
- Understanding of the drug development process, especially regarding opportunities for differentiation and value demonstration.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Passionate about serving patients suffering from genetic diseases.
- Proven selfstarter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to handle a full workload across multiple projects.
- Collaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align strategy and execution.
- High level of selfawareness and understanding of the importance of selfmonitoring for continuous improvement.
- Experience leading KOL engagement activities is a plus.
