We are hiring a Product Design Architect to help craft the future of work. Product Design Architects are recognized as inspiring leaders that define product direction and set/hold the bar for bestinclass, innovative design. As a talented and seasoned Architect, this role will craft visions that enable the success of our customers. Were looking for someone who can define strategy, prototype product visions, and collaborate across Salesforces product and design organization to bring the vision to market all while setting the bar for design excellence and creating new patterns and paradigms.

What Youll Be Doing

• Collaborate with seasoned design, engineering, and product partners including our GMs to drive vision and strategy for Salesforce development, via design.
• Create prototypes that enable Salesforce to explore product visions in real time with real data.
• Drive complex design initiatives that span across multiple product pillars.
• Work with crossfunctional partners to define business goals and strategic vision at both platform and pillar levels.
• Communicate and reinforce product vision and business objectives in a clear, inspiring manner.
• Collaborate within the design team on systemic initiatives such as evolving our design system, mobile design practices, and prototyping process.
• Act as an active mentor for other designers.
• Be a prominent advocate for Salesforce design, help build our design community.
• Guide, improve, and implement design and feedback processes.
• Attract top talent, interview candidates, and actively improve our inclusive design hiring process.

What You Should Have

• 10+ years of significant experience in a leading individual contributor role on a product design team for desktop or mobile.
• Outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in applied design skills and idea generation.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
• Substantial experience with product managers and engineering to develop vision, strategy, and rationale.
• Track record of mentoring designers and design teams toward excellence.
• Demonstrated experience with prototyping to explore and convey design solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: proficiency in mobile and web technologies.

For Washingtonbased roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,700 to $351,800.

For Californiabased roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $251,900 to $384,100.
