Job Summary
The .NET Technical Lead will guide a team of .NET developers building enterprise‑grade investment applications. This role is hands‑on and requires strong technical depth in .NET Core, API design, microservices, and Azure. The Technical Lead will define technical direction, review code, support architecture decisions, and ensure high‑quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of .NET developers across multiple application tracks.
- Own technical design, solution architecture, and code quality for .NET applications.
- Work hands‑on with .NET Core, C#, Web API, SQL Server, EF Core, and modern design patterns.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QA, and business stakeholders to define requirements.
- Review code, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee microservices development, API integrations, and Azure cloud deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and guide root cause analysis.
- Ensure technical consistency, scalability, and security across all modules.
- Coordinate development activities across onshore/offshore teams.
- Support DevOps practices using Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Git repos, work items).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands‑on development experience in C# / .NET / .NET Core.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed system design.
- Proficiency with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, DevOps Pipelines).
- Strong SQL experience (SQL Server, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Experience leading and mentoring teams in an Agile environment.
- Solid understanding of design patterns, clean architecture, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in investment management, trading systems, or financial applications.
- Exposure to React/Angular UI stacks (nice‑to‑have).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in Azure.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD automation.
