Role Description This is a New York City based commission‑based Sales / Marketing role for CallSphere. You will own the full sales funnel: prospecting, outreach, demos, follow‑ups, and closing deals with small and mid‑sized retailers (e‑commerce, retail, restaurants, and services). You’ll educate prospects on how CallSphere’s AI voice and chat agents reduce missed calls, increase orders, and improve customer experience.
You will
Identify and qualify target businesses via in‑person visits, email, LinkedIn, and calls
Run discovery and product demos (live or recorded) and handle basic objections
Translate product features into revenue/ROI language for business owners
Maintain a clean pipeline (CRM/Sheet), track metrics, and report results
Collaborate with the founder to refine messaging, outreach sequences, and case studies
Compensation ($5k-10k /month, Commission‑Only)
100% commission‑based (no fixed base salary)
You earn a % of every closed client’s monthly subscription (recurring as long as they stay)
Example:
Close 20 SMB clients on a $199–$499/month plan at ~20–25% commission → approx. $2k–$3k/month
Top performers closing and maintaining 60–80+ active accounts can realistically reach up to ~$10k/month in commissions
Uncapped earnings: more active accounts and higher‑tier plans = higher monthly income
Qualifications
1–3+ years in B2B sales / growth / SDR / marketing or strong founder‑style hustle
Comfortable with cold outreach (emails, DMs, calls) and handling objections
Ability to explain AI/automation benefits in simple, business‑focused terms (revenue, conversion, cost per call, missed calls)
Basic understanding of SaaS or tech products; AI or CX tools is a plus
Strong organization: can manage a pipeline, follow up consistently, and hit activity targets
Self‑driven, comfortable with commission‑only income, and motivated by clear metrics and upside
Clear written and spoken communication skills; confident on Zoom/Google Meet demos
Plus: experience selling to local businesses (retail, restaurants, clinics, salons, etc.) or previous startup experience
