ABOUT THIS ROLE The producer role sits within Audible Studios, NA. As a successful producer you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of audio content creation, from initial development through final delivery. You will work closely with creative teams, talent, and stakeholders to bring compelling audio experiences to life while maintaining the highest production standards and meeting critical deadlines.

ABOUT THE TEAM Audible Studios NA has been a cornerstone of premium audio storytelling for over 19 years, establishing itself as a leading force in professional audiobook and premium audio content creation. Operating as a full-service audio production facility, the studio manages the content creation lifecycle, from creative development through final audio delivery.

As a Producer, you will

Schedule kick‑off meetings with internal/external Creative Teams on projects

Work with creatives and business owners during the ideation phase of projects

Collaborate with a senior producer to create overall production timelines, review budgets for creative teams, align with stakeholders, and review/align on casting for single and multi-point‑of‑view projects

Gather auditions for author/creator consult and/or approval

Work with production coordinators/narrators to schedule talent and studios for recording

Coordinate with post‑production team, including working together on music and sound design

Review audio and gather internal feedback

Collaborate with production coordinators to maintain product records in Airable and update all relevant teams on progress

Track session details, production status and other metrics as needed for Creative Teams

Coordinate with full‑time production/post coordinators to include regular (weekly, monthly, yearly) reporting

Coordinate with Legal and creative/business owners

Experience and Qualifications

Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service and experience in managing and troubleshooting network

Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time

Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions

Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication

4+ years of producing longform narrative in the audio space

3+ years’ experience working in audio production (directing/producing)

Commercial‑level experience

Experience with audio assessment

Bachelor of Arts, Science or related degree. Theater, English, and Audio Engineering majors encouraged to apply

Experience managing the editorial workflow for scripts from initial draft to final production

Experience in script editing and story development

Familiarity with audio engineering, audio editing and hard‑disk recording software

Knowledge of at least one foreign language

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
