Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

SUMMARY The Marketing Liaison is responsible for acting as a liaison for a skilled nursing facility, building relationships with hospitals to generate patient referrals and admissions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

2 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing in healthcare; long‑term care marketing experience preferred.

Familiarity with the admissions process at a sub‑acute, SNF or rehab facility.

Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed‑care sub‑acute guidelines.

Ability to establish good working relationships with social workers, nurses, physicians, and case managers in assigned hospitals and other medical facilities.

Excellent organizational skills with a detail orientation toward documentation.

Superior follow–up skills and ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.

Professional telephone skills with the ability to handle referral calls effectively and efficiently, meeting the needs of referral sources and families.

Computer experience and understanding of hospital EHR systems preferred.

Primary sales and marketing representative for managing hospital/community referrals and admissions.

Develop strong relationships with case‑management personnel and identify new opportunities for alignment, partnering, and growth.

Work with the facility admission team to develop monthly plans and strategies to generate new business.

Participate in monthly reports on sales activity, competitor/referral source changes in the marketplace, and develop marketing plans.

Assure that the admission process is seamless and positive, including identifying all necessary device/equipment and immediate medical needs for a smooth transition to the facility.

Communicate critical and/or strategic changes to hospital functions, relationships, programs, and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.

Be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, and be willing to handle residents, staff, and visitors at any maturity level.
