Scout House is a production-first creative technology studio specializing in gaming, mixed reality, VFX, and developer education. For over a decade, we’ve built a multidisciplinary team of makers, coders, designers, and producers united by one goal: to push the boundaries of what’s possible. From next-generation game trailers to immersive mixed reality experiences and global developer education programs, we create high-impact, platform-native content that defines what’s next.
Job Summary We’re hiring a Generative AI Artist who creates, not just plans. You will help set the bar for AI-enhanced content, from rapid prototyping and concept visualization to final production augmentation for game marketing and developer learning content.
You will contribute to prompt libraries, curate outputs for quality and consistency, and deliver platform-native visuals and video with a director’s eye for craft. You must be fluent in modern AI image and video tools, proficient in Photoshop for prompt prep and cleanup, and comfortable finishing in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Create with AI at speed.
Ship high-priority visuals and video using T2I and T2V tools (Runway, Veo, Midjourney, Weavy.ai) for trailers, game launches, and developer learning.
Design visual systems.
Build mood boards, style frames, and prototypes. Translate briefs into AI-generated visuals for pitches and preproduction.
Own prompts and models.
Develop prompt libraries, seeds, control images, and fine-tuned models for consistent, on-brand outputs.
Photoshop and prep.
Use Photoshop for source prep, masking, retouching, and control images to improve generation quality.
Build in Weavy.ai.
Orchestrate node-based workflows that chain multiple models and professional editing steps in one canvas. Branch, compare, and route best outputs without app switching.
Integrate and finish.
Move top generative passes into Adobe Premiere and After Effects for edit, motion, and polish. Work with VFX and post teams to slot AI assets into motion and video pipelines. Keep files organized and handoff-ready.
Curate and QC.
Select strongest outputs, fix artifacts, upscale when needed, enforce continuity of characters and worlds, and run per-platform spec checks.
R&D with intent.
Track emerging tools across 3D, VFX, AR, and wearables. Prototype only what can ship, then document and templatize the workflow for the team.
Documentation and training.
Publish short playbooks, maintain a prompt database of wins and failures, and run internal sessions.
Collaboration.
Partner with creative directors, producers, artists, and clients. Manage timelines across multiple projects. Act as a subject matter expert for the team and a trusted advisor to day-to-day and senior clients.
Platform-native output.
Deliver assets tailored to each surface and spec set: aspect, duration, loudness, codecs, safe areas, and caption formats.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Portfolio that shows shipped work using modern AI image and video tools applied to real deliverables.
Proficiency with AI video tools (Runway, Veo, Pika or similar) and AI image tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Firefly or similar).
Adobe Creative Cloud skills for finish and integration: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop.
Strong visual fundamentals: composition, camera language, pacing, color, and motion principles as they relate to prompting and edit.
Photoshop for source prep, masking, retouching, and control images to improve generations.
Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders plus disciplined file hygiene and version control.
Ability to create fast options from a brief, select the strongest pass, and deliver on spec.
Preferred Qualifications
Model customization.
Experience with custom models, LoRAs, ControlNets, or small fine-tunes to achieve specific, on‑brand looks.
Node-based workflows and automation.
ComfyUI, Weavy.ai or similar; Python scripting or simple API/CLI automations; comfort building reusable templates.
3D and realtime.
Blender or Cinema 4D for look dev and passes; Unreal or Unity for previs, environments, or light integration.
In-headset game capture.
Experience capturing gameplay from Quest or Vision Pro, managing FOV, stabilization, and frame rate, and exporting clean clips for edit.
Audio craft.
ElevenLabs or similar for VO; basic sound design and music edits; stems and loudness targets in a DAW or Audition.
Post and finishing depth.
Color management basics, grading, motion graphics, typography, and compositing beyond the basics.
Photo retouching.
Strong traditional and AI-assisted retouch skills for source prep and cleanup.
Data visualization and motion infographics.
Ability to animate complex ideas clearly for business and product stories.
