Description
Some casino/guest service experience is preferred but not required – upbeat personality, positive attitude and ability to learn are the most important qualities to perform this job.
Summary:
Responsible for Guest Assistance and Managing the casino floor throughout their shift.
Work with all departments and is responsible for any activities on property during their shift.
Log shift events and numbers are regularly report to General Manager and other executives.
Solve conflicts and disputes.
Assist with casino promotions (like drawings and bingo) from start to finish (planning, preparation, execution, MC)
Coordinate marketing efforts throughout the property
Program player/marketing software (full training will be provided)
Generate simple reports and write promotional rules (basic MS Word and Excel knowledge will be helpful)
Be knowledgeable of and able to explain/promote all Casino and Marketing events
Make guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
Sign up and issue guests Player’s Cards.
Answer incoming calls and transfer calls as needed.

Requirements Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Language Ability: Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language
Math Ability: Good math skills; ability to calculate money accurately
Certificates and Licenses: Nevada Gaming Registration Card
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 20lbs
Ability to work in a noisy, smoky casino environment
Ability to work in a small, confined, office-type setting
Knowledge/Skills: Excellent organizational abilities
Ability to handle cash, calculate accurately, analyze, and account for cash and coin
Excellent Customer Service skills
