We currently have an opportunity to join our Customer and Experience and Marketing team as a Marketing Automation Analyst. This 9‑month fixed‑term contract position is based in the Melbourne office with hybrid work‑from‑home options.
The Marketing Automation Analyst plays a critical role in designing, executing, and optimising automated marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement. This role bridges marketing strategy and technical execution by leveraging data, segmentation, and platform capabilities to deliver personalised experiences across our digital channels. The analyst ensures campaign accuracy, monitors performance, and provides actionable insights to improve effectiveness. By collaborating with cross‑functional teams, the Marketing Automation Analyst supports scalable marketing operations and contributes to continuous improvement in customer lifecycle management.
Accountabilities
Design and optimise automated journeys across email, SMS, and digital channels to support customer lifecycle engagement, retention, and conversion goals.
Manage and maintain marketing automation platforms, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and seamless integration with CRM and analytics tools.
Collaborate with marketing, data, and digital teams to translate campaign objectives into actionable automation strategies using segmentation, triggers, and personalization.
Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and internal governance standards, including consent management, data handling, and audit readiness.
Monitor campaign performance and drive continuous improvement through A/B testing, reporting, and actionable insights that inform future campaign design.
About you
SQL coding experience is essential.
Minimum two years’ experience using Marketing Automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, HubSpot, preferably Salesforce.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AMPscript is preferred.
Experience with reporting and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
