Senior Producer (Live Ops)
to lead day-to-day live operations for Good Pizza, Great Pizza and other TapBlaze titles. With over 300 million downloads, Good Pizza, Great Pizza is loved by players worldwide for its charm, humor, and unique gameplay. This role ensures smooth event launches, high-quality feature updates, and a player-first approach to change management. You will work closely with Art, Design, Engineering, QA, Community and Localization to catch issues early and deliver reliable, polished live experiences. You will manage daily live operations and coordinate the work of teams in our Los Angeles and Beijing offices, ensuring every update, event, and build is delivered on time, fully tested, and at the quality level our players expect. OBJECTIVES
Owns entire release process.
Owns day-to-day live operations for Good Pizza, Great Pizza and other TapBlaze titles, ensuring smooth event launches, feature rollouts, and content updates across all platforms (mobile, Steam, Switch, international versions).
Prevent design, UX, and systems regressions by establishing a rigorous internal play-test process, ensuring all changes are vetted by design, QA, and community teams before release.
Improve player experience and retention by monitoring KPIs, gathering player sentiment, and driving fast, high-quality improvements; serves as an internal game critic, and champion of quality while advocating for the player.
Coordinate cross-team readiness (Art, Design, Engineering, QA, Community, Localization) so every feature and event is properly reviewed, briefed, and communicated.
Reduce production risk by organizing release calendars, separating live events from systemic design changes, and maintaining rollback plans.
Drive operational excellence through documentation, retrospectives, and continuous improvement of live-ops processes.
Advocate for player concerns and issues. Ensure live issues are turned into tickets and triaged appropriately.
Foster and maintain a positive culture and work environment.
COMPETENCIES
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-disciplinary teams.
Deep understanding of mobile/Steam live operations, event cycles, A/B tests, patch pipelines, and in-game economy risk.
Ensures features are fully tested, tutorials updated, community managers briefed, and edge cases accounted for pre-release.
Anticipates problems, raises red flags early, and takes responsibility for the success or failure of a live release; prepares rollback plans before release.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years production experience with one or more complete development cycles in a F2P mobile production role.
Proven experience as a producer within live operations and rapid game development production in F2P mobile.
Plus: Experience with simulation, casual, or narrative-driven games;
Plus: Experience managing teams across multiple locations/time zones.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work; Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer. The base salary range for this role is $110,000 – $145,000 per year depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY
