into a fully realized musical piece. The project requires collaboration with a female vocalist who authentically portrays a shy college girl. The song is in English and the book is in Portuguese. This is a creative project with emotional resonance, supporting marketing and promotion of the book.
Responsibilities
Compose original music to accompany the provided English lyrics from the book
Collaborate with a female vocalist to ensure the vocal performance matches the character's age and personality
Arrange and produce a high‑quality recording suitable for promotional use
Communicate regularly with the project owner to align on creative direction and feedback
Deliver the final song in a format ready for marketing and distribution
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience in music composition, particularly for narrative or literary projects
Ability to arrange and produce music for vocalists, with a focus on emotional storytelling
Experience working with vocalists and directing vocal performances
Proficiency in music production software and recording techniques
Strong communication skills and openness to creative collaboration
Ability to work within a limited budget and deliver professional results
Availability for remote collaboration; location in Portugal is a plus but not required
Sensitivity to the nuances of character portrayal through music and voice
