Job Summary This position offers an exciting opportunity to orchestrate high-impact customer speaking engagements and reference programs that showcase real‑world success stories on a global stage. The role combines strategic program management with hands‑on execution, requiring someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment where attention to detail and stakeholder collaboration are paramount. You will serve as the central hub connecting senior leadership, technical teams, event coordinators, legal advisors, public relations professionals, and creative specialists to deliver seamless customer speaking experiences. With responsibility for substantial program budgets and the authority to drive process improvements, this position empowers you to make meaningful contributions that directly influence how customer stories are shared across major industry events and keynote presentations.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize end‑to‑end program processes including budget management, timeline coordination, and speaker nomination procedures
Manage program budgets of $500K or greater, ensuring effective allocation and tracking of resources
Partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to execute strategic customer speaking initiatives
Coordinate with technical teams, events staff, legal departments, public relations, and creative teams to ensure successful program delivery
Oversee the complete lifecycle of customer speaking engagements from nomination through post‑event follow‑up
Run program meetings and maintain detailed work‑back schedules to keep all stakeholders aligned
Identify bottlenecks and process inefficiencies, then implement solutions to enhance program effectiveness
Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple departments and organizational levels
Track and report on program metrics to measure success and inform future improvements
Coordinate logistics for live events and keynote speaker appearances
Develop contingency plans and manage risks to ensure program continuity
Skills
Exceptional program management skills with proven methodology application
Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail
Advanced time management and prioritization capabilities
Risk management expertise with ability to develop backup plans and solve problems proactively
Outstanding stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences and senior leadership
Budget management and financial tracking proficiency
Process improvement mindset with ability to identify and implement efficiencies
Proficiency with productivity tools including Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with project management software such as Asana and Smartsheet
Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes
Experience
5 or more years of experience in program management, event management, or related field
Demonstrated experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders
Background in customer reference programs or speaker management preferred
Live event coordination experience strongly preferred
Experience working in global, matrix organizations is advantageous
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Experience with process improvement methodologies is a plus
