is seeking an
Architectural Designer
for our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the initial and detailed phases of architectural projects requiring interface and collaboration with multiple disciplines, consultants, and clients. Candidate must have experience preparing architectural plans and supervising their execution.
Essential Duties Include
Works on complex issues that impact major projects where analysis of architectural design requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
May exercise own judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Leads teams of architects and designers and takes overall responsibility for portions of large projects or entire small projects.
May participate in presentations to clients and may represent the organization as an external spokesperson.
Determine collectively with multiple design disciplines, the technical approach and design criteria for projects.
Work with architectural staff under architectural lead in a team.
Develop design details, plans and specifications.
Use computer software as a design tool for solving complex architectural problems.
Contribute new designs, or techniques that are of material significance in the solution of important problems.
Remain current in codes and technologies appropriate to the architecture discipline including IBC, NFPA, etc.
Ensure conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Required Experience > Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch, BA, and/or M. Arch).
0+ years of relevant experience is required.
Transit Architecture design experience including station and related facilities is preferred but not required.
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam Revu a plus.
Experience in Rhino, 3-D Max, Sketch-up is a plus and LEED Accreditation is also a plus.
Excellent design, technical detailing, and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential. The candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving, an understanding that project success comes through teamwork, and a firm focus on client needs.
Compensation Range $51,384.00 - $68,512.00
