C. Elaine Border, LPC, LPC-S , a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with over 14 years of experience in mental health counseling, supervision, and parenting education (Parenting with Love and Logic). We offer high-quality clinical care while maintaining a collaborative, supportive environment for our providers.
Position Summary
We are seeking a
Licensed Mental Health Therapist
to join our practice. The ideal candidate would be a licensed provider in Alaska who is passionate about serving clients with professionalism, integrity, and heart. Experience with military populations, trauma, or family systems is highly valued.
This is a contract position with competitive revenue sharing. We provide all the administrative and billing support, furnished office space, and a steady flow of referrals.
HOURS : Mon (8am-1pm) Tues & Wed: Flex (8am-6pm) Thurs: (8am-4pm) No Fridays
Responsibilities
Must be able to maintain a full caseload potential (15–25 sessions per week)
Provide individual, couples, or family therapy to clients (in-person sessions only)
Have basic computer skills and knowledge of Excel, Word, and EHR systems.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Border Counseling clinical documentation standards, HIPAA and insurance requirements.
Collaborate with administrative and billing staff to ensure timely claim processing and client communication.
Participate in supervision and consultation meetings.
Uphold the clinic’s values of professionalism, respect, and commitment to client well-being.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
Credentialed—or eligible for credentialing—with major insurance panels (Tricare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield).
Minimum one year of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Alignment with clinic values and family-centered approach.
Compensation and Schedule
Contract-based compensation, typically 60% provider / 40% clinic split (depending on experience and performance-based evaluations).
Furnished office, administrative support, and billing services provided.
