2026 Broadcaster and Media Relation Internship

Responsibilities:
This position will report directly to the General Manager and will be charged with performing all broadcasting duties. Various duties include but are not limited to: Serve as the official broadcaster for the Johnson City Doughboys Execute broadcasts for all Johnson City Doughboys games (home & away) Recording of advertising reads and promotional ad spots Responsible for broadcasting equipment setup and operation Responsible for broadcasting area in the press box (organization & cleanliness) Assist with social media score updates and additional content as needed Provide post-game writeups to be relayed to the league Have strong organizational skills Have excellent communication skills and a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a passion to be successful in the sports industry Work flexible hours with night and weekend work required Assist operationally including tarp pulls as needed during game days and non-game days as directed by the GM (as needed) Be able to operate independently and complete a task without supervision Time management skills
Other duties as assigned
No Game Days are to be missed unless there is a medical emergency or prior permission given by the General Manager
Start Date: May 18th, 2026 End Date: August 7th, 2026 PAID INTERNSHIP (monthly stipend)
